0

The Asus Zenfone 3 is now an old device, but that doesn’t make it obsolete as the handset is now receiving the latest June Security patch along with a bunch of new bug fixes as well, which were reported earlier to Asus in feedback. The Taiwanese PC maker has done a really impressive job of keeping the force going with software updates even after the device has already seen two successors.

This new update comes for the following two Zenfone 3 models:

The software version that this new update comes with is 15.0410.1806.65 and is now over the air to download also you can try to get it manually by going into Settings > About Phone > System Software Updates. Moreover, if the update has shown up yet, then please be patient as such updates arrive in phases covering one region at a time and don’t come to everyone’s handset at the same time.

Moreover, the bug fixes include the RCS issue fixation, which will now ensure a long battery life of your handset and also a spam message error is now taken care of with this one. And as always the drill, make sure you have at least 50% or more battery in reserve, and such updates are recommended to download over a stable Wi-Fi network rather than on Mobile data to avoid any extra charges. Overall, Asus has proved lately that, it hasn’t abandoned the ship and is continuing supporting them, by providing necessary things.
