Apple has recently launched its all-new iPhone X device, the device is the first iPhone device which doesn’t sport a home button, and instead of that, it comes with in-screen gestures to perform the functions of the home button. New information is coming from the house of a Chinese giant Xiaomi, they have rolled out a new update for some of their smartphones, and after installing this, the smartphones will support similar gestures so let’s checkout more about it.
The new update is only available for the devices which have a display with minimal bezels namely Redmi 5, Mi MIX, Mi MIX 2, etc. The update arrived as version V7.12.28 and brings the latest MIUI 9 to the following devices. Xiaomi is trying to get those special gestures on its smartphones as it will decrease the chances to reply on home and navigation buttons, the users will be able to do all their tasks with the help of these gestures.
By swiping up on the screen, the user will get back to the home screen space, swiping up on the screen and holding a little will fire the recent tab and the users can control apps by swiping left and right. Along with this new gesture options, the update brings fixes for the existing issues present in the device. This time Xiaomi has tried to get inspired by the Android lovers. Other than Apple and now Xiaomi no brand is there which supports this type of gestures.
