WhatsApp Desktop and Web To Get Dark Mode

There are always new features coming around and the recent most popular feature was Dark Mode. The feature got popular last year and is now used at large. Most of the platforms are adapting to Dark Mode due to its popularity. From iOS and Andriod versions to the most popular apps all have come up with Dark Mode within the last year. Popular apps like WhatsApp did it as well and after bringing it on smartphones the company is going all out. WhatsApp Desktop and Web are getting the Dark Mode as well soon enough.

After the long process of getting Dark mode on Smartphones and getting it to Beta, this is new. WhatsApp is one of the leading messaging apps right now with a large number of users. The users are not just limited to smartphones many people use WhatsApp Web and Desktop versions too. It was natural for WhatsApp to bring the popular dark mode to these versions as well. Leaks from WABetaInfo are giving the idea that the feature is getting worked on by devs to bring it on Desktop and Web versions. The experience of a dark interface from smartphones is coming to WhatsApp desktop users soon.

It is not known to how long the update might take before people can actually access it. The images available so far show the new dark interface and a bit of sneak peek to icons. You can see the changes that are possibly going to take place in the update. Other things might also get changed by the time an end product is ready. The dark theme won’t be the default interface for WhatsApp and you will have to use a toggle to turn it on from the settings.
