Sony’s foldable Smartphone might come in Transparent Mode

As it looks like from the new 2019 is going to be an interesting year for the new mobile technologies including foldable phones. All the big smartphone makers such as Apple, Samsung, Huawei, LG, Motorola and more are getting ready to release the folding smartphones in near future.

Every big smartphone maker is trying to make a foldable phone to release in 2019. Now Sony also jumps into the race.

According to some sources, Sony also wants to release its foldable smartphones in the next year. The sony foldable smartphone will be unique and different from all of the other smartphone makers.

According to the reports, Sony has filed for a patent back in May. But this patent was published later in November.

According to this patent, the smartphone will have two displays (front and rear). These two displays can be set to function in six different modes (three for the front and three for the rear). Basically, they can be set transparent, semi-transparent and non-transparent.

Users will have the choice of setting one of the displays to transparent mode and the other one to non-transparent mode. Sony is not going to release this foldable phone next year but we do know that Sony will launch the foldable phone.

Let’s see when Sony will release this foldable smartphone. If such phone is released it can be a game changer for Sony.
