Sony to Launch its 2018 Flagships with the World’s first 4K OLED Screen
Earlier some renders of the upcoming Sony devices were rocking the internet, they were indicating towards the launch of flagship devices from them, the old information was completely based on rumors and leaks, but finally, Sony has confirmed that they are organizing an event in the upcoming MWC 2018. In that particular launch we will be expecting the new flagship devices from the Sony, so let’s check out some detailed information about it.
As per the rumors, Sony will be launching two new devices namely the Xperia XZ Pro and the Xperia XZ2 though nothing has been officially confirmed. Recently in an interview, Hitoshi Osawa(Head of UX Product Planning at Sony) has confirmed that in the upcoming days Sony will be launching the world’s first device with 4K OLED Display. Yes, you’ve heard it right, earlier we have witnessed the Xperia Z5 Premium which offers a 4K LCD, but at present, there is no device which will feature a 4K OLED screen.
He hasn’t confirmed that whether the smartphone will be launching in the MWC 2018 or we have to wait for the further occasions. According to him, the brand has invested a huge sum in OLED panels for their devices, and this new 4K screen will deliver the level of quality which has never been experienced on a mobile device. It means that the latest upcoming flagships from Sony will not come with that traditional Triluminos technology and instead of that OLED screen will be implemented. Sony is holding an event in MWC 2018 on 26th of February which means for further facts we have to wait for the official launch.
