Don’t you hate when you lose your smartphone in your house and I can’t seem to find it when you need to leave right away? Samsung has decided to do something about it by launching its new SmartThings feature to help you find lost Galaxy devices in your smartphone using Bluetooth.
This is a brand new feature from Samsung and it can have a wide range of features and benefits to the average user. A lot of brands already do provide a feature like this but coming from Samsung is a big news because they are one of the most popular smartphone manufacturers in the world and if they are adopting a technology then it might become a standard feature across the range. An update will be rolled out so that all Galaxy devices can get this feature of SmartThings on their smartphones and smart devices. This feature was in beta testing in the UK, US and Korea and reportedly 6 million people have tried this feature on their smartphones on the beta version.
According to Samsung it is ready for its global launch and now it will be rolled out as an update to all the Galaxy smartphones and smart watches around the globe so that they can take advantage of this feature and find their lost device using Bluetooth any time they want. If you have wireless earbuds then you might face this problem of losing them in your house and around your couch but not anymore because you will now be able to locate individual earbuds of your wireless earphones using SmartThings feature on your Galaxy smartphone.
