The Foldable Samsung phone, which is also known as Galaxy X has been in talks since last year and there has been some concrete information about its existence. We have seen numerous patents and trademark of the device, but as you know that, such concepts don’t always see the production line.
However, here in this case according to ET news, Samsung has in cards the following things, development of the device will begin in March 2018 and will hit the production line in late September, while the final roll-out will be done by the end of this year or in 2019.
Interestingly, Samsung’s president of Mobile business, denied this timeline as he quickly conveyed that until they don’t find a good user interface suitable for the device, they can’t give it a go. On top of this, there’s also reports that whenever Samsung thinks that the US is ready for the phone and the demand gets as the company expects the roll-out will begin.
The foldable AMOLED display’s as said by the company earlier in a statement at the Korean Display Industry Association that the mass production is still in the planning phase and the roll-out might begin somewhere around in 2019. And also when the demand rises for the product as well.
The Galaxy X is expected to feature a 7.3-inch foldable AMOLED display, and it could bend to the inner side as you can see in the images. So, what would you prefer a complete bezel-less device or a foldable device?
