From a while, a lot of leaks were there about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8 and the Galaxy A8+, and today almost all things about the two devices are leaked thanks to a hands-on video which shows the two devices in almost all possible angles. Partial information about the two devices was already leaked, and in this article, we will be talking about the leaked specifications and design of the two smartphones, so without wasting any time let’s jump to the information.
In case you don’t know these two smartphones are semi-premium devices and are not as capable as other flagship devices though for our final verdict we have to wait for the official launch. Earlier it was leaked that these devices will come with a dedicated Bixby button, but sadly nothing like that is present on either of the two devices. The posted video has revealed a lot of facts about the devices but for some reasons that particular clip has been removed from the YouTube.
The two devices sports an 18:9 ratio Full HD+ AMOLED Displays, the Galaxy A8(2018) will come with a 5.7(inch) screen while the Galaxy A8+(2018) will come with a gigantic 6.0(inch) panel. The two devices don’t pack a complete Infinity display as some bezels have been retained in the front but the premium always on Display is available on both the devices. Powering the 2 is an Exynos 7885 Octa-Core processor coupled with optional 4GB/6GB of RAM. They will be available in the ROM options of 32GB/64GB which is expandable via Micro-SD card. The Fingerprint Scanner now sits in the rear.
The smaller Galaxy A8 runs on a 3000mAh battery while the bigger brother A8+ houses a 3500mAh battery. These two were also on the list of few Samsung devices that offers an IP68 rating for protection. The two are the first Galaxy-series devices to offer a Dual-Camera setup in the front, they have a 16MP+8MP Camera setup with Live Focus, and in the rear a single 16MP snapper is present. They also offer Face Recognition functionality which is great; the two devices are expected to launch in CES.
