Samsung Galaxy A8 is going to be the first phone with Infinity-O display

South Korean Smartphone makers Samsung is going to launch their Galaxy A8 phones today in China.

The major feature of Samsung’s A8 is its infinity O-display. It is reported that there are going to be no notches but an O-shaped hole in the display for the camera. Huawei is also thinking about releasing similar design smartphone on at the start of next week.

Except for that unique feature, there is going to 6.4-inch (2340 x 1080 pixel) display, this phone doesn’t have an official price yet, but it is expected to be a mid-range affair.

The A8s are going to powered a Snapdragon 710 with options for either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage with up to 512GB of expansion via microSD.

On the back of the phone, it got a triple-camera array just like the Galaxy A7, while the front-side selfie camera contained within the cutout has a 24 megapixel sensor.

It is still not confirmed about these smartphones that when they will be available to buy outside of China. Samsung’s 2019 S10 flagship is also reported to feature the Infinity-O display, but this hasn’t been yet confirmed by the company.

All of the A8 designs further strongly indicate that Samsung might have something amazing under its sleeve when it unveils 10-anniversary Galaxy S10s. It could be minimalistic camera hole design, a fingerprint on display, a sound on display and under panel sensors.
