Qualcomm may soon launch the all new Snapdragon 670 SoC
Qualcomm is the first name that comes to our mind when we talk about phone processors, recently in an event, they have revealed their Flagship processor for 2018 known as the Snapdragon 845, this new processor offer AI capabilities, 10nm architecture and much more but our today’s article is not about it. Recently some information was revealed which suggests that along with flagship offering Qualcomm will also going to release a budget chipset known as the Snapdragon 670, so let’s check out more about it.
Not much information about the chipset is revealed yet but recently a leak comes into existence which gives us a little hint about the processor. As per the latest information, Snapdragon 670 will be the successor to the current Snapdragon 660 chip, this new processor will also support more RAM, bigger screen, etc. A person named as Roland Quandt on Twitter has posted some information about the upcoming processor.
According to the information shared by him, the chipset will support 4GB/6GB OF LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB of Flash storage, WQHD Screen, and a 22MP+13MP camera. It is also rumored that this processor will be based on the latest 10nm architecture which is currently beings used in premium chips. It will support Camera up to 22MP in the rear and a 13MP camera in the front. Maybe the upcoming devices from Motorola, Xiaomi, Lenovo will come powered by this SoC. Nothing has been announced officially about the launch due to which we believe that the above-provided information is not 100% correct as we have to rely on leaks and rumors.
