A few days back some expected news was there about the Oppo’s upcoming device and today the China-based brand has launched its all-new Oppo A83 smartphone. In case you are pondering the device is a mid-budget one and offers some of the flagship features as well. There are no words about its launch in the other countries but what we have is interesting, so let’s discuss the specifications and the pricing of the smartphone.
The phone offers a very similar Oppoish design which we have already experienced on other Oppo devices. Powering this smartphone is an Octa-Core(64 bit) processor clocked at 2.5Ghz, the manufacturer of the chipset is not mentioned but according to us, it has a MediaTek Helio series processor inside. It offers 4GB of RAM along with 32GB ROM which is expandable up to 256GB’s via micro-SD card.
In the front, it has a massive 5.7(inch) IPS HD+ Display with a typical resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels, it is an 18:9 ratio screen. In the rear, there is a 13MP Camera single-sensor with LED Flash and in the front, an 8MP snapper is present. It is a Dual-SIM smartphone and runs on ColorOS based on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. This new device comes with Face Recognition technology which according to Oppo can unlock the device in 0.18 sec, if it is real then it will going to be scarily fast. It houses a 3090mAh battery and is launched in Gold and Black color options. We are not sure that it will be coming to India or not as Oppo hasn’t said anything about its Indian launch yet, the device is priced at CNY 1399(13,700 INR).
