OnePlus rolls out OxygenOS 4.5.15 for the OnePlus 5, see what’s changed
New GPS improvements, bug fixes and much more
OnePlus has been really good with updates this year for both of its flagship devices, that’s the OnePlus 5 and the newly launched OnePlus 5T. A week ago, One Plus rolled out a new update for the 5T which improved its camera performance and other minor bug fixes and now the company has yet another update prepped out for the OnePlus 5. This new update comes as OxygenOS 4.5.15 and is currently rolling out across the globe, over the air.
In this latest update, you get some stability improvements and several bugfixes, however along with these regular things, here’s a clear heads-up on what’s changed in brief:
- Security Patch for October has been appended
- Bitmoji’s has been fixed
- GPS navigation improvements, accuracy tuned
- All previously known bugfixes
- Custom ringtone set-up bug has also been resolved
However, there’s no sign of Android Oreo yet, but the Chinese OEM, stunned everyone when it started rolling out the Oreo update for its former flagships, so we don’t doubt that One Plus 5 users will face any delays on this front.
The beta testing will soon reach its final stage and you’ll witness a global roll out the Android Oreo update soon, in the coming weeks. Now coming back towards the new OxygenOS 4.5.15 update, just make sure, you need to have at least 50% or more juice in reserve to successfully update it without any failures. So, do wait for the Android Oreo 8.0 beta 2 stage and Never Settle for small updates.
