Nubia is set to unleash its new smartphone as a sub-brand of ZTE. They announced the Z18 Mini recently, and now they’re preparing up to release its flagship. The flagship device will be simply called Z18 of course.
CEO of Nubia, Ni Fei released a new poster on to his Weibo account confirming about the display to come with some new technology. They’re already calling it Full Screen 3.0 display, and we’re expecting it to be the Bezel-less display. Other reports suggest the device model being NX606J. Though Master Lu’s benchmarks also suggested the same, we also found some interesting specifications of the device as well.
Apart from that, some image listings revealed that it’d have a small cutout for the camera just like the Essential PH-1 smartphone. Thank God! We don’t have an iPhone X like notch. Having a cutout that small will bring in more display to glance. Back to the specs, Master Lu’s benchmarks revealed that it would feature Snapdragon 845 chipset already along with a 6 GB of RAM. The display is said to have a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels packed into a 5.99-inches display.
From the above information, we get to know some more information about the storage and variants as well. There’ll be two variants -— one with 6 GB + 64 GB storage while the other goes with 8 GB + 128 GB of storage. Running on Android 8.0, the Nubia Z18 offers 3,350 mAh of battery. This is 2018, and as everyone is doing mostly, they’re going with dual cameras as well. But we only know that one of those two cameras will be a 24 MP one and an 8 MP camera on the front. Going a bit deeper, we can see that the fingerprint resides on the rear part whereas there’s a dedicated button for triggering some Voice Assistant maybe.
All we’ve known till now is this, but if more leaks emerge, we’ll keep you updated with all the stuff around the tech house. Until then, stay with The Gadget Wire.
