Computers are the type of tech that just keeps evolving and gives more and more with the right pieces of equipment. It is a common knowledge that a computer performs according to its parts and so for better performance you need better built. A well-built means that components are compatible and are making full use of each other. The processor is one of the most important parts and we now have a new best performing processor. A Liquid Nitrogen Cooled AMD Ryzen 9 3900X had made a new world record in overclocking becoming the best.
The record was held by Intel Core i9-7920X that completed the test in 35 seconds and 693 milliseconds. Now new record made by Ryzen 9-3900X is 35 seconds and 517 milliseconds for completing the same test. There are some differences between the two processors and one of that is that Intel core i9 made the record with overclocking to 5,995 MHz. Ryzen did it at overclocking to 5625 MHz. The liquid Cooled AMD Ryzen 9-3900X was the faster one to complete the test. Ryzen was able to make the benchmark with overclocking at a lower clock speed and is now the best winning against Inet Core i9.
Both these processors from Intel and AMD are 24 thread 12 core CPU but have different microarchitectures. Intel Core i9-7920X is based on Intel’s Skylake Microarchitecture while AMD Ryzen processor is based on AMD’s Zen 2 microarchitecture. AMD’s Zen 2 microarchitecture has higher IPC or instructions per cycle as compared to the Intel’s Skylake. With some differences and similarities between two AMD Ryzen made it through the test faster than the Intel Core i9. With this Ryzen takes away its title of overclocking champ. Now AMD Ryzen 9 3900X is the world overclocking champion overtaking the Inter Core i9-7920X.
