You get to see all kinds of interesting gadgets at CES, and this year is no exception, and here we have a rather cool phone which builds upon the old concept of projectors in phones. The Moviphone comes with a built-in projector as its highlighting feature. The projector is mounted at the top of the device and doesn’t stick out and won’t notice it at first glance and might think this is a conventional Android smartphone. Other projector solutions like Moto-mods require you to snap it on, your moto z phone.
Moreover, the projector is a Laser projector MEMS Type with an image Scanning Engine Size: 61*63.2*6mm, Integrated Photonics Module, it can project up to 50 lumens at a max screen size of 200-inches diagonally. The resolution is also decent at 720p and also comes with Auto-key stone angle, while the Contrast Ratio is 80,000:1.
Furthermore, the specs of the Moviphone are mid-range starting with a MediaTek MT6750V/WT chip clocked at 1.5GHz, and it is an Octa-Core chip. In the memory department, you get 32GB ROM with a decent 3GB RAM while the top of line variant has 64GB ROM and 4GB RAM. It also comes with Micro-sd card slot to store all your movies which you will watch on the huge 200-inch projected display. On the front, the Moviphone has a 5.5-inch 1080p LCD. The camera on the rear is a whopping 16 MP shooter while for selfies an 8 MP snapper does the job.
Keeping the lights on is a massive 4000mAh battery, and the company claimed max watch time of 4hours at full brightness of the projector. Which is good for 2 or a 1 three hour movie and some YouTue videos. Overall, a great phone if you like to view your media on big screens anywhere at anytime.
