Motorola’s affordable offering to get into its Moto-Mods system was made accessible via the launch of the Moto Z Play and now in 2018, the phone will be now in its third generation. And today we got a new leak which shows the Moto Z3 Play’s Live images in all its glory. You get to see the whole front fascia, and you can see the new 18:9 ratio panel up front, with minimal bezels. Notice the top and bottom bezels are much thinner and you don’t have a fingerprint scanner at the bottom as well(you get the full Motorola branding), neither it is on the back, due to the fact that, Moto-Mods attach there.
So, the fingeprint scanner is mounted on the side of the Moto Z3 Play, but these images don’t the shows us the device from the side. Moreover, another thing to notice here is that the gold Moto-Mod pins are still 16 in count, but they now look far more fancier and doesn’t give it an incomplete look.
We also think the strong industrial magnets inside the Moto Z3 Play are also upgraded and on the exterior, you get a glass finish. Furthermore, there’s also an image showing the device’s About Phone screen, and it confirms that the Moto Z3 Play will come with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box. A front-facing flashing seems to be missing, but the photos are not high-res, so there’s that. But at the bottom bezel below the Motorola logo, there seems to be a bottom front firing speaker, maybe.
The Moto Z3 Play is expected to be powered by a powerful Snapdragon 636 and will be paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device might show up in late June and will hit stores by July or in early August, but more on that will be coming soon.
