Long back Google has partnered with Indian brand like Micromax, Karbonn, Lava, Spice to the launch its Android One Devices but that didn’t turn out to be that much of a success, now some new piece of information is coming from the house of Google. Recently Google has announced the trimmed down version of the Android 8.0 Oreo known as Android Go Oreo; it has fewer animations and less bloatware as well due to which it can run smoothly on low-end hardware as well. As per various sources, Google has again teamed up with the brands like Micromax, Karbonn, Lava to launch its new budget devices powered by the Android Go Oreo edition. In India, a big majority of the market is inclined towards budget device due to which Google may be planning for this. As per rumors Micromax will become the first brand to launch these new budget devices, they are rumored to be priced at as less as 30$ which roughly means 2,000 INR.
This means that these smartphones will be targeted to the customers who before cannot buy an Android device due to its cost. These devices made by Google will support 4G connectivity on a budget, this Android Go Oreo Edition comes with a trimmed down version of the basic apps like Google, YouTube, Gmail, Drive, etc. so that the users can enjoy these on a budget. The first device is rumored to arrive on the occasion of Republic Day in India i-e on 26th January, and it will be from Micromax. Nokia is also cooking something in its kitchen which will be powered by the same Android Go Oreo Edition may be the Nokia 1.
