For the past month or so, there have been a few rumors about a new, cheaper and less powerful version of Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 Lite. There has appeared a new leak regarding this rumor with the image of the alleged smartphone appearing on the internet.
The image appeared on the Twitter feed posted by a Russian user @jc_ru and in the picture, the Pixel 3 Lite is only the left while the Pixel 3 is on the right.
While the Pixel 3 Lite is said to be running on a slower, less powerful processor, the Snapdragon 670, it will have the same 12.2 MP rear-facing camera as the Pixel 3 so, you will still be able to take some great pictures from it.
But from the leaks, it appears that the Pixel 3 Lite won’t be getting a dual front facing camera which means no wide-angle selfies on this one.
All of the leaks of the Pixel 3 Lite have come from Russia so far and these leaks are similar to the leaks of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. So, it may be true that a cheaper, less powerful version may be in manufacturing.
But nothing has been confirmed by Google and there is no assurance that this will, in fact, be a real device or just a prototype, but considering the rumors of a mid-range Pixel smartphone that have been circulating the news for a while now, it may be soon enough that such a smartphone is released.
